Currently, I'm advancing my academic journey as a Ph.D. candidate in Business Administration at McMaster University, Canada. My academic credentials also include an MBA in Finance from Addis Ababa University and a BA in Management from Arbaminch University in Ethiopia. Before diving into my doctoral studies, I spent five rewarding years imparting knowledge at a university in Ethiopia, during which I contributed to numerous research projects as a qualitative investigator, supervisor, and data collection facilitator.My current doctoral research project navigates the fascinating intersection of Migration and Development, with a keen focus on the intriguing dynamic of return migration and its role in entrepreneurship within emerging economies. Adopting a qualitative approach, I've already engaged in dialogue with over 35 entrepreneurial returnee Ethiopians, enriching my understanding of the subject. I find immense satisfaction and enjoyment in the work that I do.
