I am a Director of TOLRA Micro Systems Ltd (trading as TOLRAnet Digital) & a PHP developer. I split my time between developing clearFusionCMS, fusionCSS, fusionLib, doing freelance PHP development work running TOLRAnet Digital & working as a developer.I began my career in the aviation industry building functional prototype displays for human factor analysis and was involved in running the trials. This allowed me a deep understanding of the benefits of continual client collaboration. I have extensive experience in C/C++ which provided a sound foundation for expanding to PHP and MySQL development which is now almost exclusively my development platform.In my role at TOLRAnet Digital I am the developer and system administrator focusing on PHP, MySQL and administration of servers for shared web hosting. E-commerce and data driven Web sites, with particular focus on web applications and responsive web design.I have a holistic approach to developing websites and building network infrastructures, understanding the need for industry standards and requirements laid out by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). I was one of the first developers to build an accessible directory to industry standards - still being used by some of the major online directories. More recently I have built my own responsive Content Management System (CMS) & eCommerce platform - clearFusionCMS/SHOP which is being used as the foundation for developing client projects.I believe in building light weight flexible websites which are engineered to survive compatibility challenges and intermittent or slow service connections.Through the exploration and use of mobile technology I've been able to free myself from the traditional office desk.
