Tolu is a registered Learning Disability Nurse with years of experience and currently practicing in the UK. Tolu has an undergraduate degree (Bsc Hons) in LD Nursing from the University of Southampton and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Epilepsy from Kings College London.Tolu specialises in the assessment and provision of holistic care for people with LD (intellectual disabilities), autism, and epilepsy.Tolu has contributed considerably to the development of evidenced-based epilepsy pathways in a number of NHS Trusts during which she has acquired a wealth of experience in teaching in these areas.Tolu's teaching covers a range of settings with groups/audiences including healthcare practitioners, students, families, carers, schools, colleges, and universities - including the development of a postgraduate epilepsy course with Hertfordshire University.Her passion of bridging the awareness and treatment gaps of these conditions has led Tolu to teach in countries outside of the UK, including; Kenya , Nigeria and Sierra Leone. She is involved in several international projects including the Medical Assistance Sierra Leone where she is a Trustee, and the Global Organisation of Health Education (GOHE) where she is an Advisor.It was Tolu's passion and drive to make a positive difference in people's lives that led to Pretola Global Health and Consulting - as a medium to provide expert training and evidenced-based consulting. Her aim is to provide clients with the skills and knowledge required to care for people with the conditions mentioned effectively and with care.

Take the lead in ensuring that the board works within charity legal boundaries• Work with the board to identify goals, strategies and plans required to achieve them• Ensure that all ethical standards are established and maintained. • Support the project coordinator with projecting planning and establishment • Network with relevant professionals, services and charities• Plan research projects with relevant partners• Ensure that safeguarding is central in our activities to prevent abuse and exploitation of vulnerable children and adults who receive support from our charity and partners. • Regular review of risks and establishing management plans for them.
