Tolu specializes in community development, intergenerational communication, community-based education and outreach, event planning, program design, grant writing, and project management. She has worked and volunteered at length across a diverse range of organizations and with people from different ethnicities and demographics including people of colour, newcomer, millennial, and Indigenous and Inuit groups. Through her work, Tolu has helped to develop more inclusive and progressive programs, projects, and spaces for the companies and clients that she has worked with. She has particular expertise in understanding, connecting with, and mobilizing next-gen demographics including millennials, Gen Z, and Gen alpha. From her experience, Tolu has also been asked to participate in national programs like the Canada C3 Expedition, writing for the Canada C3 youth book, and speaking at the Canadian Association of Gift Planners conference on the future of giving in the charitable sector. Tolu has a bachelor’s degree with a double major in communications and French and a diploma in project management. Tolu is passionate about working with people, particularly in the areas of program development, social responsibility, inclusion and diversity education, event planning, and community empowerment. Through this, Tolu hopes to use her skills to create more progressive, forward-thinking companies and communities.
