Managing all tax matters of 8 companies, including - strategy of VAT recovery, deduction of expenses for profit tax purposes and transfer pricing compliance; - tax planning and review of financial models;- analysis and optimization of transactions and agreements from tax standpoint; - drafting tax accounting policies, harmonization and optimization of internal procedures; - liaising with auditors (big4) and defending the firm's tax position;- liaising with tax authorities and tax controversy; - negotiations with officials of the Ministry of Finance and Federal Tax Service, including obtaining clarifications on tax matters;- advising residents and potential residents of Skolkovo (1600+ R&D companies) on different matters relating to Skolkovo tax and customs incentives;- conducting seminars and webinars for Skolkovo residents and partners.- drafting amendments to the Russian Tax Code and other legal regulation relating to various tax incentives.
