Built a first-of-its-kind online course for Moceanic, a new educational venture founded in Australia by industry leaders Christiana Stergiou and Sean Triner. My topic: "Making Money with Your Donor Newsletter." It remains part of the core curriculum for Moceanic members.

First offered a few months after the Covid pandemic shut down in-person human contact globally, this 4-week on-line certificate course drew its inspiration chiefly from the masterclasses offered at The Inch in Scotland, led by Dr. Jen Shang (psychologist) and Dr. Adrian Sargeant (marketing professor). I was the "writer in residence" there for the 2 years before Covid. This particular course regularly sells out. The "before and after" results of its graduates have been amazing.

Consulted during Bloomerang's software development phase on issues regarding donor communications. Out of that came the "Ahern Audit," built into Bloomerang software (2013-2020; renamed thereafter). The audit helps nonprofits get better results from their appeals and other comms. The audit was the first of its kind and helped distinguish Bloomerang in the marketplace as a customer-friendly CRM choice.
