$26M - 31,000 SF Renovation of existing Surgery, Sterile Processing Department and Labor and Delivery Department including vertical expansion of existing mechanical penthouse. Surgical department consist of five operating rooms, locker room and equipment outfitting. Sterile Processing Department is renovated in place while staff utilizes a Steris mobile unit. Department consists of decontamination, sterile processing, clean assembly and sterile storage. Labor and Deliver renovation consists of 7 private rooms, two postpartum rooms, three triage rooms, locker room, nurse station and 2 C-Section operating rooms. inpatient and outpatient sterilization needs. L&D (located in Building 2825 on Floor 3) is required to be renovated in its current location. L&D cesarean section (“C-section”), Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum rooms (LDRPs), and the nursery were last renovated in the 1996 project. A small section of the department had updates in the 2001 project (post-partum rooms along the south wall of L&D only). The current circulation and functional alignment are inefficient; the department currently does not promote patient well-being or encourage patients to continue their care at the MTF. The infrastructure serving L&D, to include the mechanical systems, are shared with SPD and require new equipment and distribution systems to meet criteria.

$35 Million: St. John's Hospital - HSHSPATIENT TOWER RENOVATION: 120,000 Square foot 128 bed renovation of the sixth through ninth floors of a fourteen story patient tower. Project requires major mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades to an existing patient tower dating back to the 1930's and 1970's. Close coordination of utility shut downs with the hospital in order to maintain patient care on all occupied floors. Infrastructure upgrades required us to be in over two hundred and fifty occupied rooms in order to install new plumbing, electrical and ductwork infrastructure upgrades.

$59 Million - Athens Regional Medical CenterVERTICAL EXPANSION: 47,000 SF - 60 private bed patient tower. Two floors plus a mechanical penthouse construction on top of an existing five story patient tower. Modernization of six existing four story elevators that were required to travel two addition floors including while maintaining four of the six elevators in service at all times.HORIZONTAL ADDITION: 111,000 SF - Three story plus mechanical penthouse addition that included four new elevators, two of which traveled seven stories connecting the new addition to the vertical patient tower. New canopy entrance and two story lobby. Ground floor relocated and expanded existing laboratory services. Second floor provides patient reoperation and post operation recovery along with holding rooms. Second floor provides a new endoscopy suit complete with diagnostic imaging and minor procedure rooms. Penthouse housed new mechanical equipment.OPERATING ROOMS: 11,000 SF - Four new operating rooms and support areas including an additional sterile core. Work occurred adjacent to operational operating rooms with extensive medical gas and critical utility tie-ins while maintaining a clean environment.RENOVATION: 45,000 SF - Complete demolition and build back of existing laboratory and recovery area housed above kitchen, dietary, clean linen, central supply distribution, decontamination and receiving along with patient floors above and adjacent to ORs. New area includes PACU, registration and operating support areas for staff, doctors anesthesiologist.OR EXPANSION: 4,500 SF - Addition built on top of existing roof area and tied into two existing building requiring extensive MEP relocations.BRIDGE: 150 foot long bridge connecting the third levels of the new horizontal addition to an existing medical services building.Project consisted of 21 tie-ins to existing buildings and built over four existing buildings and interfaced with 26 roofs, 19 new and 7 existing.
