As an Air Traffic Controller at Royal Air Force (RAF), I leverage my leadership and analytical skills to ensure the safe and efficient management of airspace and aircraft operations. I have been serving in this role for three months, after completing a seven-month deployment as a Civil Air Liaison Officer and Section Lead, where I coordinated between NATO coalition elements and host nation Air Defence and Air Traffic Service. Prior to that, I spent three years at Boscombe Down, where I gained experience in various supervisory, flightsafety and regulatory assurance roles, culminating in selection as DSATCO to end my tour.In my recent work experience, I have demonstrated my ability to work with diverse and multi-national teams, comply with multiple regulatory bodies, and contribute to the trials and evaluations of new aviation and air traffic systems and technologies. I am motivated by the challenge and responsibility of ensuring the safety and expedition of air operations, and I value the opportunity to learn from and share best practices with my colleagues and partners. I am interested in joining an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in air traffic management, and that can offer me the opportunity to further develop my skills and knowledge in this domain.
