As a Commercial Manager for Marks and Spencer I integrated my passion for business with my insight into consumer buyer behaviour through a first class honours dissertation and study on the subject.I was responsible for a head count of almost 40 Customer Assistants, Coaches, Section Co-Ordinators and Managers and their performance in delivering the business KPI's to aid the store in achieving its Plan of over £50M per annum (Bath).Sales - Managing and achieving multi million pound sales targets set across various KPI's to ensure the business was kept on track.Service - Ensuring the business level of service was delivered with a personal Business Unit average scoring of 100% on mystery shops. Meeting other KPI's so ensure that staff delivered the brands service strategy.Standards - Contributing to exceed business KPI's for Trading Safely and Legally (and Operating Safely and Legally) audits to ensure that the business was compliant.People - As the head of this pillar for the store I was responsible for absence measures, staff turnover, career progression etc. A firm relationship with Section management allowed the absence figure for the store to reduce in line with business targets. I also headed up the stores coaching staff, ensuring they delivered their KPI's. I also delivered a wave of business change through the Cost Improvement Programme to reduce the business' costs which affected staff. Using innovative measures of engagement I was able to negate any harmful backlashes from this change. Costs - Working with the finance manager and Senior Management I was responsible for aiding the store to exceed its costs targets. I delivered the Cost Improvement Programme for the business to reduce the total costs for the store in order to increase profitability.

This role involved working Closely with firms such as SKY TV, Amazon, BBC, Councils etc to supply animals and petting farms for TV, FILM and Events.I was able to increase business profits through clear structure and planning and a close relationship with clients.
