Site Reliability Engineer for the UK channel, working within sportsbook, gaming and retail. Strong focus on improving observability and stability by improving alerting and dashboards for applications and infrastructure using observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk and Rapidspike. These improvements often entail pushing terraform changes to existing monitoring using Gitlab or creating new terraform backed monitoring.Further conducted post-mortems for incidents which involves documenting key events, determining the root cause and creating/completing actions to prevent reoccurrence of the same incident. These actions range from working with product teams to improve application stability to improving incident management processes with support teams to improve recovery times. Other key responsibilities include updating/creating support documentation, performing load tests using Gatling and scaling applications in AWS.
