Tasked with managing all returned material to fifty locations in the United States and Canada. Responsible with determining the liability associated with all returns. Responsible for issuing return credits to customers and making sure they balance with vendor debits within our ERP system

Purchased material into approximately fifty locations in both the United States and Canada. Developed inventory purchasing models based on past demand data, lead times, marketing incentives, and geography. Coordinated with sales, marketing, business management, and warehouse personnel to ensure that urgently needed material was stocked in the correct location and time. Monitored key performance indicators such as service level, inventory turns, and vendor lead times. Followed up with vendors to expedite purchase orders and obtain knowledge on lead times and shipping information for past due and back ordered material.

Tasked with placing purchase orders for special order material. Updated purchase order information in our ERP to include shipping and lead time information as it became available. Trained a full time hire as my replacement for this position before returning to school at the end of the summer
