The Dutch Chamber of Commerce is an independent international business association, representing Dutch or Dutch-related companies of all sizes and individuals that have a stake in developing trade in, with, or through Hong Kong. It is a member-driven, not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation of business people. The Chamber has over 170 companies as member ranging from global market leading multinationals, SMEs and startups. As General Manager, I am responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, the Chamber's budget and P&L, maintaining relations with stakeholders and development of the strategic direction of the Chamber. During my tenure, the Chamber has achieved record-setting events, new value propositions and expanded its collaboration with strategic partners.

The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (EuroCham) is a non-governmental business interest group. EuroCham is a ‘Chamber of Chambers’ with its membership comprising of 14 European Chambers based in Hong Kong. As a Treasurer, I am responsible for the Chamber's budget and P&L, as well as developing new sources of revenue. In addition, I frequently engage with (governmental) stakeholders and media - to discuss matters affecting the European business community in Hong Kong.

The Greater Bay Area is a thriving ecosystem, offering exciting opportunities for international collaboration in fields like hightech, sustainable finance and industry-university partnerships. Program manager for two European Structural and Investment Funds (INTERREG). The two cross-border investment funds aim to enhance innovation, SME competitiveness, a low carbon economy and social development in the program area. My responsibilities include fund supervision, project selection and the development of next-gen investment programs (Working Group chair). Coordinating the Flanders-Netherlands Hightech-stakeholdergroup. In addition I am chairing the Dutch networks concerning the communication of the Structural and Investment Funds.

Ambitions that require a profitable business and competitive returns. In addition, TBT can link entrepreneurs to providers of capital; e.g. banks and funds.

Another area of my work is focussed on the transition towards a circular and biobased economy.
