Key Responsibilities:− Machine installation, from unit delivery to operator training− On site breakdown support and periodic PPM Fault finding on PLC’s, servo drives and pneumatic systems− Over the phone technical support for customers− Procuring spares and consumables from internal and external sources− Developing excellent customer relationships− Producing detailed work reports for all jobs carried out.

• Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance tasks on the new state of the art electric metro trains specifically designed for the Auckland rail network.• Carrying out software updates to the trains multiple integrated control systems, along with data acquisition and analysis, in order to maximise asset availability.• Working on various unit systems such as HV power traction units, converter systems, pneumatic braking systems, HVAC systems and train management systems.• Using the Maintenance Management System to record defects, reflect task progressions and record material movements.• Ensuring completed work meets the quality and safety requirements of the New Zealand rail standards.
