Clinical Negligence: My practice involves acting on behalf of patients, hospital trusts and individual practitioners. I have experience in advising on prospects on paper and in conference with experts, drafting pleadings and attending CCMCs. I am also experienced in attending and advising in inquests that involve allegations of clinical negligence. I have been instructed in all manner of clinical negligence disputes, including surgical errors, delays in diagnosis, oncology, obstetrics, dental, and nursing care.Court of Protection: I am a joint Head of the Court of Protection team in chambers and practice in both Health & Welfare and Property & Affairs matters. I am experienced in section 16 and 21A applications, representing supervisory bodies (local authorities and ICBs), NHS Trusts, family members, P, the Official Solicitor, and the Public Guardian. I accept instructions covering deprivations of liberty, welfare decisions, removal of the nearest relative, and deputyships. Inquests: I have attended and advised on numerous inquests and PIRs relating to medical and social care, as well as road traffic accidents, deaths in prison, and breaches of health and safety regulations. I also have experience drafting written submissions on behalf of interested parties. I represent bereaved families and other interested persons, and will advise on the merits of bringing or defending any anticipated civil claim. Personal Injury: I am experienced in Fast Track and Multi Track matters in both the County Court and High Court. My practice covers employers' liability, public liability, product liability, criminal injuries compensation, and road traffic accidents. I represent both claimants and defendants. My paper practice includes advising on liability and quantum, and drafting pleadings.

My role involved assisting the head of department in investigating, advising upon and litigating high value personal injury claims on behalf of insurer clients.

I managed my own caseload of clinical negligence matters. The work involved obtaining expert evidence and advising NHS trusts regarding potential claims.
