Commercial Category Manager
Current• Creating and developing a long term plan and strategy for development of the categories.• Managing a large portfolio of wholesale brands and developing appropriate strategies for each (both own brand and proprietary).• Driving category relationships with the large vendors.• Sourcing new products and launching these into our business and to our customers.• Working alongside customers to translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance.• Rolling out competitive pricing and promotions across customer channels.• Leading projects to optimise ranges and related merchandising, reducing supply chain to maximise commercial margin and opportunity.• Developing strong working relationships with buying, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless supply of product to both our branches and business alike.
