Fungo is in business to create balanced minds. But why?Like many of you, I was wrapped up in London city life, hustling and reliant on coffee to see me through the day. I felt stimulated, but the problem was that my anxiety was getting out of control, the jitters, overthinking. So I quit coffee in 2017, and quickly replaced it with tea. Fast forward to 2021, I needed some time out from a high growth tech startup, where I helped it scale from £100,000 to £8m in annual revenue. I'd burnt out. Whilst on a 4 day Ayurvedic retreat in Sri Lanka, we were put on a strict diet, including no caffeine. Wow was that the wake up call! The withdrawals left me with a haziness, headaches and walking round like a grouchy zombie.So, I set out on a mission to find an alternative to caffeine, something that still packed a punch, but without the negative side effects.Calm natural energy.This was when the world of functional mushrooms came into my life, and I haven’t looked back since.It became clear this was the answer.
