I have grown up around business, my father has owned his own company for 34 years and has built that successfully. Being around the business whilst growing up has, I believe, instilled the hard work, determination and knowledge needed in working life. I currently work for Marks & Spencers in the cafe, within this role I must show teamwork and communication skills every day, my work ethic was notified in a recent audit that was conducted in the store, I got a personal mention in the audit report which anybody in the company can see. To further my skillset within the role, I trained to become a master barista, this now means that part of my role is to teach and mentor new starters, and give them the knowledge needed to succeed in the role. I am currently studying at Sheffield Hallam University, the course I am doing is Sport Business Management, this course ties in with my morals as a person, and my skillset, which I believe is a combination to set me up for success in the working world.
