I am a Physics (and Engineering) teacher, having worked in a variety of schools with a broad array of students from 11-18 years old. I have developed experience and skills in communicating ideas in a variety of ways, working with and leading groups of adults and young people and organising resources and time.Prior to teaching I worked as a civil & structural engineer and have had experience as a topographical surveyor. I have also spent time volunteering at a care farm, assisting with animal husbandry and working with adults and young people with learning difficulties.I have interests in agriculture and rural affairs, having volunteered and helped on a variety of farms and lived in rural communities. I also enjoy fell running, hiking and travelling and have organised trips to a variety of destinations, including personal trips to central Asia and a school expedition to South America.
