Part of the PEAK Executive Team overseeing a portfolio of 10+ global adventure travel brands after the merger of Intrepid Travel with TUI plc UK’s adventure travel division. Brands included Intrepid, Peregrine, Geckos, Exodus, The Adventure Company, Headwater, Sawadee, Trek America and Adventure Tours Australia. Leadership & Strategy• Co-ordinated the transition of product from external suppliers to the PEAK DMC network, to raise product quality and retain the DMC margin within the group. • Led the “Blue Water” strategy aligning product development across the PEAK group brands to provide differentiation, minimise internal competition and maximise profits. • Provided best practice guidance to all PEAK brands on product development & management, pricing and purchasing. Operations & Project Management• Led the establishment of new of new DMCs in Myanmar via acquistion and Turkey via start up. • Led the global PEAK Group companies’ business services units including legal (commercial disputes and small claims, booking conditions, intellectual property, contracts, office leases) property and insurance portfolios. Finance• Led the introduction of fluid pricing principles to the PEAK brands, adjusting prices depending on demand and time before departure.
