Responsibilities included design of below ground pipework, design of below ground ducting, access road and footpath reinstatement design and hydraulic design of overflow provisions discharging through mesh screen for water quality provisions. The programme was constrained with outline and detailed design submissions within 4 months of contract award. Due to the timeframes agile liaison was required with other discipline leads as the design developed.

Activities included:• Shaft structural and civil design for 3.6m dia, 8m shaft located adjacent to main river and within a source protection zone with stakeholder management of developer, site owner and TW.• Draft detailed design submission was delivered within 6 weeks as per client requirements.- Pumping Station Design LDE, Middle Eastern ClientLDE on concept design of 13 cumec pumping station to constrained programme. - Affinity Water HS2 Design ReviewsLead civils reviewer for £40m of civils works to mitigate impact on water quality from HS2 tunnelling. Included civils review of structural design of new plant, drainage, process and potable water mains and other ascorted civils deliverables.- Thames Water Design ReviewsUndertook design reviews on behalf of Thames Water to ensure developer designs compliant withThames Water standards and best practice.- Fire main replacement on RAF baseLDE for 400mm HPPE diversion of fire main due to extension of apron at RAF base.Pastoral duties including:Line manager to a team of engineers.ICE delegate engineer to chartership candidates.
