How often do you have a conversation about digital transformation and before you know it, you’re deep into the latest platform, app or software release? While the end goal of digital transformation is about the technological changes you need to support future growth, the start of the conversation should be about business and people. When I talk with companies about their digital transformation I focus on their business and challenges. This often with a frank discussion about their customer journey, what it really looks like and how it needs to change. This focus on the customer journey is all about people and fulfilling their needs. And it extends beyond this to the people in the company – their needs, how they can be supported with technology and how everyone in the company can be taken on the transformation journey. In my role as Director Business Development at Pearl Group. I’m looking to solve business challenges with transformative technology solutions. But more than that I work with my customers to really deliver added value, so they get the most out of the right technology solutions for them. This could be Cloud computing, or SAP or a whole range of different applications that support digital transformation. I have deep experience of in helping business transform from leading SAP projects in the UK, US, Brazil, Africa, APAC and in the Nordics. I brought this experience to Pearl Group, where I established the PearlCare business area at the Pearl Group, which I led for 8 years. Pearl Group is now the leading SAP partner in Norway and the Nordics and helped many companies in the region with digital transformation.
