Tom Berry enjoys working as a 30-year government customer service employee. He has an impeccable professional record for working with all types of personalities and in a variety of situations. He is a master at calming and reassuring escalated clients, while maintaining business priorities. During his long career, he has attended numerous customer service courses. In his spare time, Tom enjoys current events, checking out new restaurants, studying law and photographing Florida’s architecture. Tom is an articulate public speaker and prolific writer, who writes current event articles for blogs and news articles. He is co-writing the “Disability Smart Solutions Customer Training for ADA Law” curriculum, “ADA Law: Engaging Senior and Disabled Consumers to the Hospitality Industry” book, magazine articles and facilitating video training courses.As the husband of a designer, the adoptive father of a deaf special needs teen and the son-in-law of a wheelchair bound woman with dementia, he learned firsthand the unpleasantries of architectural barriers, inaccessible buildings and staff uneducated in serving disabled consumers.He looks forward to influencing businesses to train their staff for sensitive disability customer service and awareness of ADA Law so that businesses can increase their client base by insuring that all customers are comfortable in all businesses.He knows that a business only gets one chance to make a great impression and gain a loyal customer.
