When I was 18, my brother and I drove in a Citroen 2CV from London to Mongolia - we were attempting to reach Japan. Despite breaking down short of our goal, this was a fantastic experience which has taught me more than it is possible to list here. It especially allowed me to hone my film making technique and style, all out on location in often very harsh environments. Naturally, we couldn't afford to make a project like this work when we had the idea - we needed funding. We did this by successfully pitching the trip to various corporates (BP, Citroen, Halfords) and start ups (Huel) as means for engaging, informative and exciting social media content. Whilst challenging, it was a means to an end for us to pull off an incredible adventure.Since then I have attended the University of Leeds, graduating with a 2:1 in English and Philosophy in the summer of 2020. In that time I also focused my free time on my music, art, writing and film ambitions. In 2021, my band - Grand Central Television - have released our debut studio and live albums, all written, recorded and produced ourselves. I also created all of the visual art around the music using all analogue video equipment.
