It's about servicing our readers to making sure they get everything need to know from a news perspective, while also editing the paper's iconic form guide, the Racing Post. The website I manage, HK Racing, won the 'Best in Lifestyle, Sports or Entertainment' at the 2017 Asian Digital Media Awards.

I won Thoroughbred Racing SA’s ‘Best Racing Story’ award for 2013/14, while also collecting the 2014/15 Australian Baseball League Media Award.

Covered all forms of racing in the Territory, while versatile enough to report on all other sports, including cricket, AFL and soccer. Through this position I also got the opportunity to host Sky Racing’s TV coverage from Fannie Bay on multiple occasions, complete with pre-race analysis, late mail and interviews.

Started as a cadet and rose to the position of acting sports editor. Covered all sports from a local angle and learnt the craft in a community environment. Through this position I also got experience hosting a weekly Saturday morning sports show on 3SR FM that covered all the sports in the Goulburn Valley. Won ‘Best County Feature’ at Harness Racing Victoria media awards in 2007.
