Our job was to train, coach, mentor and evaluate an Iraqi Infantry Battalion of 850 soldiers. We worked with their leadership, command and control, intelligence, operations, personnel and logistics personnel to improve their combat and sustainment capabilities. Our goal was to work ourselves out of a job and hand over control of the ground to the IA.
