The day to day work as an Operations Coordinator at Huttie consisted of organising and scheduling works and materials for our plumbing, heating and electrical engineers. A large amount of the role consisted of discussing the works with the client, suppliers and engineers. Due to the amount of communication with the clients, I needed to provide a high level of customer service.It was a fast paced role where I needed to juggle multiple tasks at one time, whether this was on the phone, via email or general administrative works.

I was a general hand for No Fuss, working in a variety of locations across the state of Victoria. My main roles entailed working as part of a team to construct seating systems for a number of event both large and small. Constructing and furnishings marquees at a number of events was also a large part of my role. I’d be working in stadiums laying the flooring on the pitch for any concert or events that would be taking place. Between event, as a general hand I’d be in the warehouse helping to organise and refurbish the products to be used again at the next event.

At Flashpackers i was a general hand, both living and working at the hostel. I had two main duties while working at the hostel and the first was driving the guests too and from a number of locations. I’d also answer any questions they had about tourism and the local area. Secondly, I was given the responsibility of general upkeep of the hostel. This included cleaning the swimming pool, gardening and any caretaker duties that needed to be taken care of.

My role at the farm was to pick the bunches of bananas that were ready for sale and place them on the pack of the tractor. I’d also be working in the sheds, where I’d be hanging the bunches which they’d then go on to be cut and packaged. When out In the paddock, the staff would rotate from picking, cutting and driving the tractor.

I was a door to door sales representative for Genius Direct. The product that I’d sell was Alinta Energy’s energy package. This involved going door to door and selling the package to the customer. I’d show them how much they be saving both monthly and annually. I’d travel all over the state of Victoria and to many suburbs for this job.

My role was to contact potential pharmacies and dispensing doctors with regards to there generic pharmaceutical needs. At ZeCare we supplied over 800 lines of pharmaceuticals. My aim and duty was to increase and then sustain the number of customers I had by building and increasing the relationship between the customer and myself.
