A varied role assisting with planning, mobilisation & on site running of various marine operations.

Sea wide services was a fantastic company to work for, starting as deck crew during the mooring season & working up to one of the skippers, every day would be different from the next, working in a variety of vessels some of which where a 22m barge, 15m crew launch & 17m dive support & survey vessel.

Sailing & power boat training for college students. my role was to not only coach the skills but bring them up to an RYA instructor standard.

Returning to the 1st centre I had worked but this time as a Senior instructor was a great way to see how I had improved over the years, from the shy assistant instructor trying to keep out of sight to the confident Senior instructor, often the first to greet and brief new tour groups my roles also included - planning daily activities - staffing- money handling- maintenance- hazard analysis- staff training- advertising

During this short period I was employed as the senior sailing & power boat instructor who's role was to collaborate with one senior windsurf instructor and one kite surf instructor to build and develop a brand new centre within the grounds of the Park Hyatt hotel Goa. The main aspects of the job covered:- Project management.- Working alongside local authorities to ensure. we covered their health and safety regulations. -Training of new staff.- producing new NOP's , EAP's & maintenance plans.- Building of beach huts & set up/ testing of new equipment.

My first job in the watersports industry working alongside experienced instructors to deliver a range of water and land based activities from 1 to 1 private tuition up to summer tour groups of 200+. While studying at Falmouth marine college during the winter months I also managed to find enough spare days to help develop a new program and train local teenagers and young adult on "entrance to employment & freestyle" programs

During this time I laboured as part of a two man team completing various builds including garden landscaping, a large 3 storey extension & structural underpinning of an early 20th century house.
