- Build Customer Segmentation & Cost-to-serve models in Logistics | Global Beverage Company: Tom supported the development of a “Logistics Service Catalog” where based on Customer Segmentation (defined by margin) the logistics service for a respective customer is chosen. Tom was responsible for building the models to calculate and maximize the cost reductions in support of the business. Tom conducted and led meetings, and presented the customer segmentation model to the client. He developed/supported his numbers using Alteryx Designer and PowerBi tools resulting in 7-10% logistics cost reduction during and close to 100% improved service level for critical accounts. - Design Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) process | Global Beverage Company: Organized and helped co-create the IBP process together with the client to incorporate financial numbers into the clients S&OP process. Responsible for researching and preparing materials on the design of the IBP cycle, the meeting cadence and governance, different forecasting methodologies, and the integration of Finance and Supply Chain. By means of 10 workshops over the course of 8 weeks, the project resulted in a new IBP design and an implementation plan to transform the client’s organization. - Implementation of the Global Strategic Sourcing Model | Global Food Company: Supported the implementation of a Source-to-contract tool during the design and testing phase. Tom led the workstream on the development of the User Interface and stress-testing of the tool, where he organized and led various meetings with the client using agile/lean methodologies resulting in the successful development of the user interface of the tool.
