Spent my second year on the Civil Service Project Delivery Fast Stream helping to deliver a business change Programme for the Commercial Directorate at Department for Education. Refined my Project Management skills and techniques through project planning, reporting, governance and management of benefits. Acted as Delivery Manager for some distinct deliverables within the portfolio of work.Spent the second 6 months at Department for Education working on the Commercial Directorate's Covid-19 Response Team. Project Managed a group of Subject-matter Experts through a turbulent period and a variety of projects including PPE provision, Cleaning and Hygiene Products and Home-to-school Transport.

Joined the 4-yr Project Delivery scheme on the Civil Service Fast Stream developmentprogramme. Spent my first year working for HMRC in Manchester on the well-renownedMaking Tax Digital Programme. Successfully project managed a number of IT deliveriesutilising a range of skills including stakeholder engagement, facilitation of checkpointsand workshops, project monitoring and planning. Delivered projects at pace in a high-pressure environment. Was part of the team that achieved successful VAT mandationin April 2019, with over 1.1 million traders having signed-up for the service at time ofdeparture.

Worked full-time for a year as a customer assistant at Morrison's in central Manchester. Worked a mixture of early and late shifts, carried out stock management protocols and warehouse organisation.

Professional Placement working within the planning team at private consultancy Nexus Planning.

Provided support to the student’s union in the set up of talks and events. Worked as part of a team to integrate new technologies and stock into the working environment. Strengthened relationships between different faculties through communication networks. Worked both at music events and in the Student’s Union Bar, selling and pouring drinks.

Temporary out-of-term work for Babcock International Group, specifically the Devon School Library Service. Working with stock management and taking and receiving deliveries. Office work and making topic boxes for schools in the Devon area, compiling topic boxes and managing this stock before its delivery to schools. Working as part of a team to meet deadlines in an efficient and successful manner.

Summer work designing and constructing wooden jumps for Equestrian Events. Maintenance and design of outdoor racecourse landscape. Refining and building small and large scale jumps and obstacles, using construction machinery and working in a hands-on environment to a strict deadline.

Temporary Summer work relaying and fixing a broken artificial Astroturf Pitch. Pitch damaged by flood damage and needed to be re-layed and maintained. Manual labour using tools and machinery to move and fix large sheets of turf, building and site management at a small scale.

Saturday work for Mole Valley Farmers Ltd, first as a member of the customer service team working on tills, dealing with customer enquiries and transactions, having to solve problems at short-notice and be personable and approachable. Followed by work as a member of the stock team managing several shelves on the shop floor, organising and presenting stock, managing some deliveries and aiding in manual work in the back store.
