Responsible for the financial and performance management of the Council, the delivery of all professional support services and for championing customer service. As Director, I lead on all matters relating to the allocation and prioritisation of resources across the Council through the annual budget setting process and ensuring VFM and continuous improvement throughout the system.I work alongside the Resources management team to deliver exceptional core services and drive transformational change, working with the Strategic Leadership Team and Cabinet.

Responsible for managing the Council's performance, partnerships, policy development, business improvement and transformational change programme teams.

Managing the Council's procurement, risk, insurance and business improvement teams. Responsible for the coordination and delivery of corporate projects, programmes and collaborative working initiatives and contributing to the effective management of the directorate of Resources.

Management of team of business analysts and trainees in the mapping and delivery of process improvements, project management and programme support across the Council. Provision of Programme management for collaborative working activities and high profile projects across all council services.

Responsibility for the coordination and maintenance of a range of interdependent workstream plans delivering the Council's transformational change programme. Responsibility for day to day Programme Management Office duties, including staff supervision, internal and external communications, change control and liaison with a range of internal and external colleagues.
