Tom Brady is Chairman of the Board of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) (NYSE:OFC), an S&P 400 office REIT focusing on the specialized requirements of U.S. Government agencies and contractors engaged in national security related knowledge based defense activities. Headquartered in Columbia, MD, it is a dominant office landlord in the Greater Baltimore / Washington, DC region with office parks under development in San Antonio, TX and Huntsville, AL. Also, since 2009 Tom advised OPOWER and served as Chairman of the OPOWER Advisory Board until 2016. OPOWER, founded in 2007 and publicly listed in 2014 (NYSE: OPWR), now part of Oracle (NYSE:ORCL), is a leading provider of cloud-based software to the utility industry. Opower's solutions enable over 100 utilities to deliver a modern digital experience to millions of homes world wide. Prior to becoming COPT's Chairman, Tom was Chairman of the Board of Baltimore Gas & Electric Company (BGE) and Executive Vice President – Corporate Strategy at Constellation Energy (CEG) (formerly NYSE:CEG, now a part of Exelon NYSE:EXC). During a distinguished career Tom held a series of senior executive positions providing experience in strategy, M&A, start-up businesses (NewEnergy), utility operations, and Chief Accounting Officer. Constellation, a Fortune 200 company, owned energy-related businesses including BGE, the largest utility in MD, and NewEnergy. He continued to serve on the BGE Board of Directors through 2012. Tom is a director of ENBALA Power Networks, a privately held smart grid technology company headquartered in Vancouver, BC; and previously served as the Chairman of Maryland Public Broadcasting and Maryland Public Television (2003 - 2007), and a Trustee of Stevenson University.Tom received a BS in Accounting from University of Baltimore, an MBA in Finance from Loyola University, completed an Advanced Executive Program at Penn State University and was a certified public accountant.
