This material, previously destined for power stations, is now pyrolyzed on our farm to produce biochar and to dry our agricultural produce. We use the biochar in several ways: as a soil amendment, and sequester carbon. This innovative approach not only recycles organic material but also contributes to environmental sustainability by capturing and storing carbon, which otherwise would have been released into the atmosphere through combustion.At Brodie Biomass, we screen wood fines to create a top quality bespoke biochar compost.
