University drop out 🤷 best thing I ever did as jumped into the drinks industry at 19 and haven’t looked back.2. I’ve been in the drinks industry for 20+ years and have been in multiple lanes – bartender, bar owner and now agency co-founder at Wilde Toast. We’ve worked with so many incredible brands and still do including Diageo, Edrington, Suntory, Red Bull, The Shard and W Hotels to name a few. Our work over the last ten years has been in more than 70 publications including The Telegraph, Independent, Stylist, The Spirits Business and the Guardian – which is something we are all pretty proud of.3. I'm the Marketing Director here at Wilde Toast. Disclosure - I have no formal marketing education 🤫. 4. What I lack in education I hopefully make up for in experience. I have been involved in over 7,000 events and activations in my career, owned and exited a bar and gastro pub as well as working behind cocktail bars for 7 years. This has given me a well-rounded view of the drinks industry, particularly the on-trade.5. This is how I sum up my job – daily analysis of the fast-moving drinks industry, a lot of chatting to drinks industry professionals, building content, gathering insights and trying to keep up with our industry. 6. As an ex bartender - I’m passionate about giving bartenders more of a platform in our industry. They deserve it given they sell the drinks that make brands and venues rich. Without them, there is no drinks industry.
