I have been working both onsite and in Fabrication shop, fabricating and testing pipe work, working from Isometric drawings. I worked on petrochemical sites and undertook jobs needing breathing apparatus training and HF acid tests. Working on various pipe from 1/2inch – 36inch and various metals and plastic pipes both screwed and welded.

Working in a team and as the individual pipefitter fabricating and installing pipework on a shutdown involving the cracker on the refinery.

I completed my apprenticeship with TEI working in the workshop on fabrication and testing from drawings, also on-site fabrication and installation.I have worked around the country on many power stations, incinerators and Petrochemical plants, covering new builds and breakdowns. Generally I work as part of a small team as the single pipe fitter.

Catch Centre Immingham

I started my ECITB apprenticeship at the Catch Centre Immingham sponsored by H&H. This covered the following skills:-Pipe Fabrication & Installation.Mechanical Fitting.Rigging. Unfortunately just before I finished at the Catch Centre, H&H went in to liquidation.
