About Tom Brooks

Tom Brooks is the current Director of IT for Jennings County School Corporation as well as personnel business owner. He has spent over 25 years in software development, team leadership, coaching, mentoring, project management and advanced interactive web and mobile development roles. He has led and designed large scale implementations of organizational and strategic IT projects in everything from racing, museums and entertainment venues to government, education and military institutions. Tom has a passion for sharing knowledge and spreading education in various forms of technology and has taught IT as a former adjunct instructor at IUPUC. Tom is also a former military veteran USAF from 93-99 in combat communications and trained in PJ/CCT spec ops as well as help coach national level springboard divers. Tom holds 4 degrees including a MS/BS in informatics and credentials in Computer science and electronics.Future goals are to continue creative R&D, write an autobiography and to help others by exploring executive CTO, CIO leadership roles within the community.
