I completed a 3 year apprenticeship with SP Energy Networks and worked as a LV, 11Kv & 33kv SPEN authorised underground cable jointer for a further 7 years.I am well experienced with LV fault finding using many different technologies such as TDRs, Fusemates, Cable Sniffers and more advanced technology such as Kelvatek’s Bidoyngs and Reezaps. I am part of a small team in an industry first ‘LV Support Room’ pulling together new technologies such as LV Substation Monitors and Smart Data to create a unique view of the LV network. With this data we can forecast faults, drive investment and help create a safer working environment.
