• Support, configure and troubleshoot multiple proprietary Linux based trading applications• Handle daily administration of applications including system monitoring, administration and upgrades• Configure, install and maintain Linux software on the front and back end• Improve the performance and efficiency of trading systems• Communicate daily with traders and development teams in order to drive innovation• Perform application analysis, testing, log parsing to diagnose possible issues with systems• Conduct performance tuning and measuring on operating system, hardware, networking, and applications• Design and manage implementation• Work to solve and track issues that arise in a fast-paced, hands-on trading environment
