I worked as a control room operator on the Hydrocracker, Amine treatments area, Hydrogen production, Vacuum unit, Hydrofiner and Sulphur recovery units. I have many years experience with Honeywell DCS system and DMC advanced control system. I have taken part in root cause analysis for solving process problems. I have logged faults on the Maximo reporting system to initiate repairs to faulty equipment. I have many years experience of using the Risk assessed permit system. My Daily duties included, carrying out daily monitoring of process units, problem solving for any unit upsets working with area specialists and engineers. I also had to carry out emergency and desktop exercises to maintain my skills in these events. I also had to carry out equipment change-overs for maintenance, carry out trip checks on unit shutdown equipment, carry out unit optimisation as required for production planning and carry out basic diagnostics on the Honeywell TDC system.
