Exec Tournament Director - Emirates Dubai 7s o Executive Tournament Director of the Emirates Dubai 7s, charged with evolving the experience across all verticals to being best in class o Development of a new strategic plan for the tournament to pivot from a rugby tournament to a Sports & Entertainment festival which now includes four sports, 3 live music stages, and multiple experiential F&B experienceso The commercial lead on sourcing and negotiating with local and international partners for the Emirates Dubai 7s, including HSBC, DHL, Emirates, dnata, and Zurich Insurance. o Negotiation lead on the Hosting Agreement with World Rugby for the right to host the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai. HUA covers 19-22 and now negotiating 23-28.o Management of government, national and regional stakeholders in Dubai, UAE, and worldwide regarding the hosting of major sporting events. Negotiation of contracts based on the commercial interest of those entities for approval of events to take place within a challenging political landscape.o Strategic delivery from conceptualisation of new verticals for the Emirates Dubai 7s, including Digital applications to include ticketing platform and digital wallet with integration in Emirate’s payment gateway funneling circa 30m AED through the gateway.o Development of the Digital Application to be used as a data profiling tool of customers for purchasing behaviours giving ED7s the opportunity to tactically market to customers in a way that rugby sevens tournaments have not been able to in the past.

o Overall responsibility for the strategic growth of the business as a private commercial venue to deliver world-class sporting events and community sports.o Lead on business development, and revenue generation for the venue by driving in International sporting events and programming including Rugby World Cup Qualifiers, IPL, Cricket T20 World Cup.o Day to day management of the full-time team at the venue delivering local and regional sports and the leading venue and facility for sport in the regiono Driving a new business strategy for the venue to boost group revenue via sporto Clear sustainability goals led by the building of a Solar Car Park powering the facility since 2021 reducing power expenses and meeting sustainability goals.
