I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999, then spent sixteen years as a successful private equity investor in the natural resources, retail, real estate and technology sectors. From 2016-19 I worked for one of the world’s largest private mining and fertiliser groups, initially as advisor to the Chairman and latterly as joint Managing Director of the group’s holding company and Non-Executive Director of its largest operating subsidiary. In January 2020, I joined Painted Wolf Resources as CFO, to support its goal of identifying undeveloped commercial gas resources in the Southern and Central North Sea.I combine a strong focus on delivering equity returns through rigorous financial analysis together with extensive experience of financial reporting, governance, tax, finance-raising and deal structuring.
