Project ManagerBarwin Oct 2011 - Feb 2013My role as project manager required that I managed and coordinated the restoration project to Madame Tussauds façade. This involved installing scaffolding to the façade and west elevation and ensuring that works did not affect visitors and staff at the attraction. The initial task was to remove all of the existing lead paint coatings to expose the original stone and brickwork. I then carried out a restoration repair survey and, with the support of the design team, devised suitable repair details. During the project I was responsible for organising the running of the restoration works and to ensure that all operations were carried out safely. I managed the delivery of labour and materials on site ensuring that the project was completed on time and within budget. I wrote and presented progress reports for all site meetings, issued programmes, and discussed any problems and possible solutions. The project was successfully completed in time and on budget.
