Infrastructure Exports: UK is a Department for International Trade led initiative to bring British companies of all sizes together to pursue a 'Team UK' approach to winning large scale infrastructure opportunities internationally.

I led efforts to position Bechtel in Africa and encourage the growth of business and delivery of large scale infrastructure in one of the most dynamic and complex parts of the world.

I was responsible for advising the business on which markets and sectors are likely to yield strategic opportunity and supporting wider business development efforts through the improvement of systems and processes.

I ran the world's largest independent centre for policy research on Africa's international politics. We help decision makers better understand the fast changing and complex politics of the world's most diverse continent. The role included all day to day aspects of administration, fundraising, personnel, finance, research, communications and stakeholder engagement.

I was responsible for communication and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders - including parliamentarians as well as children and young people in care. I also assisted in the production, distribution and sales of the charity's magazine for young people in and leaving care throughout the UK & Ireland.
