I have developed a course called Staying Cool that can be delivered over one-day or as 5 sessions. It is designed to motivate learning to empower change. This is achieved by providing a good level of knowledge around anger, raising self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-belief to motivate the individual to change, It also provides strategies to use and reasons for them being successful so that the learners see the value and adopt them better. Finally the course helps each learner to develop an action plan to help them stay cool in trying situations and to reflect better so that every situation becomes a self-development opportunity.I have a degree in Youth & Community Work, I am trained in many parenting courses and have a wealth of experience working with young people, parents and families. I have a great deal of experience working in voluntary, statutory and private sectors in many fields including SEN, caring and education.
