Torness Power Station

Installation, test and commissioning of the Reactor Fuelling Machine, This covered all aspects of the Fuelling Machine control and protection systems. Equipment included MCC panels, dual channel multi rack PLC system, three channel relay based protection system and various DC drives.

South Africa

A contract in South Africa commissioning the high voltage switchgear and all the MCC panels on a new cement plant. I was in charge of a team of engineers and technicians tasked with carrying out this work.

Motherwell

Site installation and commissioning on various projects - mainly oil and gas - including the off-loading jetty, pumping system and oil storage tanks at Peterhead Power Station. The general refurbishment of Propane butane storage facilities aat Provan gas Works (British Gas). The commissioning of an IPN tanker loading facility at ICI Ardeer. All the EC & I work on 4 domestic waste treatment plants for Manchester City Council.
