Weekly activities would include RF Design, frequency planning, in-building wireless applications, analyzing drive test data and working with field operations to troubleshoot and resolve all customer affecting issues. • Responsible for new cell site designs, turn up and optimization as well as working with our traffic engineer to optimize voice channel congestion.• Responsible for supervision of 3- RF Engineers ensuring timelines were achieved on all FCC / FAA filings. • Responsible for microwave frequency coordination and survey and overseeing the Cellular / Microwave FCC filing process. • Provided troubleshooting and recommendations to BellSouth Mobility HQ on some of the first Voice Data Collection Units deployed at BellSouth Mobility such as LCC CelluMate, LCC R-SAT, and Comarco Wireless Technologies. This included working directly with the vendors to ensure equipment stability, usability, and accuracy per BellSouth HQ Guidelines were enforced and achieved.
