I was charged with the diversion of all electricity, telecommunications and data lines diversions in preparation for the upcoming Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade. 8 months involving detection, identification and route planning for the future. The diversions involved several night excavations across the Dunkettle Interchange roundabout, the N 25 dual-carriageway, slip roads and the other main roads around Little Island and the Railway container terminal. All work was carried out under the supervision of Sisk’s Mick O’Sullivan and the Clients representatives Jacobs, Cork County Council and during our 8 months on the project we did not have a single cable strike.

Side road construction, drainage and finishing

All civils on 10 acre school site on behalf of BAM Building,including extraction and processing 25000 tons of on site rock. Included realignment of road and construction of new filter lane to control traffic congestion as well as connection and upgrading of all utilities.

Waste water upgrade on behalf of Ward & Burke Construction Ltd.Included pipelaying on public roads & civils works to new treatment plants.

Finishes to bridges including drainage, kerbing, footpaths, paving,and public lighting installation to all structures on new roadway.
