ARPC is a public financial corporation established by the Terrorism Insurance Act 2003 to administer the terrorism reinsurance scheme, providing primary insurers with reinsurance for commercial property and associated business interruption losses arising from a declared terrorist incident.Responsibilities under Enterprise, Risk and Crisis Response Team: - Manage the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) System 'Protecht'. - Manage the Contracts Register. - Prepare materials for Executive Review Meetings (also chaired risk review meetings in the absence of a Senior Risk Manager). - Review Enterprise Risk and Crisis Response related Policies, Procedures and Processes. - Support the assessment and monitoring of all risks across the business. This incorporates identifying control deficiencies, implementing further preventative, detective and corrective controls, treatment actions/action plans and deep dive analysis if required. - Conduct Risk Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Declared TerroristIncident (DTI) training across ARPC.- Prepare risk reports for quarterly Board meetings.- Support the implementation of action items following internal audit. - Assist in the annual renewal of the corporate insurance program (coordinated the 2019-2020renewals). - Support and conduct ad hoc risk assessments, training exercises, workshops and initiatives.
