Experienced mental health professional using education/teaching background to develop staff teams, by delivering training. Ensuring compliance against policies by training and mentoring staff and carrying out audits. More recently project lead moving the company from paper records to a new online system.I have always had an interest in working with people and developing them, in one way or another. My teaching background, brought me in to the healthcare training sector, Having spent many an hour sitting in a room on an annual basis, going over refresher training being, spoken at by someone who clearly had no experience of what they were putting forward, I decided it was time to my teaching and mental health background to put forward up to date, real life experience training, putting into context the information being put forward, for those who may not have had as much experience. I have always utilised other people's experience from inside the room, to emphasise points and give real life examples of not only best practice, but also learning points of "what not to do".I have developed my own training material for the companies I have worked for, taking into account the demographic and goal.I have very eclectic experience in my field but have always taken my love of sports and playing to a relatively high standard, into the way I work with and interact with others. Living all over the world, has in some ways given me an insight into different cultures, people and emphasised my ability to communicate clearly to all level of stakeholders.I pride myself on my observation skills and use this to try and help me read people when I'm communicating with them, adapting my style, or approach to them as individuals or individual circumstances.I firmly believe the experience I have gained, through my different positions is very transferable to different industries and roles and will always give myself wholly to the position I am working in, always wanting to do it well and to the best of my abilities.I have helped developed services in the past from nothing, to high quality fist of their kind.
