I lead a team of six with responsibility for actuarial and product analytics across Hiscox USA’s lines of business, including E&O, GL, BOP, Cyber, D&O, Crime, and other specialty lines.My team deliver loss ratio parameterization and business planning, underwriting deep dives, business analytics, portfolio management, dashboard development, and underwriting-focused projects that deliver bottom line improvements.

I managed a team of analysts focused on analyzing underwriting performance and delivering recommendations to improve underwriting results. The Underwriting Analysis team delivered robust portfolio management, underwriting appetite reboots, reinsurance support, and underwriting action recommendations.

I established the Underwriting Analytics function at Hiscox USA, with responsibility for underwriting insights, reporting and strategy.
