Tom also helped implement various policies pertaining to cryptocurrencies and served as an invited IRS representative to several Financial Stability Oversight Council meetings regarding cryptocurrencies.Before joining the IRS, Tom spent twenty years as a tax attorney representing taxpayers in tax controversy matters.
